WHO IS DEZ???

Singer, songwriter and producer Nicholas Fernandez aka “DEZ” is an independent solo artist from Snohomish Washington. Completely self-taught over the last 4 years knowing practically nothing about how music was made, DEZ has honed his musical talents as a jack of all trades style artist who makes everything himself from his humble home studio.

He said, “I’ve always been able to hear song compositions in my head like a full live band waiting at any moment to play on the stage of my imagination. I just didn’t have the know how until fairly recently to make it something tangible!”

A devoted basketball player for many years he was on the ropes with his music but then in the summer of 2020 he came to know Christ for the first time! He said, “I never saw myself doing music, but God never saw me doing anything else!” That summer he retired from basketball and started going all in on God and his music.

DEZ has spent the years since growing and maturing as a man and as an artist. He fell in love, he had his heart broken, lost family members, made real friends and through all of that wrote his first album and many singles still yet to be released.
